Frontline Defence Services Support:

How are we assisting:

Frontline Defence Services announced that it will be providing support in the form of food and drink to be utilised by those members located at Gallipoli Barracks, Enoggera who are involved in the Brisbane Flood Clean up.

A total to 1200 Defence Force members are involved in the clean up in the Brisbane and Ipswich area, of which approximately half are based at Gallipoli Barracks in Brisbane.

Frontline Defence Services, with assistance from our suppliers, have been able to secure and provide cartons of Red Bull, Powerade, 4n20 Pies and Sausage Rolls and Mars products to support the Army and Air Force personnel who are currently working in the Brisbane Flood Clean up.

These personnel are working from day break through until 10pm in clean up efforts and have been provided hard ration packs for provisions.

Frontline Defence Services is the trading name for the Army and Air Force Canteen Service (AAFCANS).

Frontline Defence Services is the Defence organization responsible for providing canteen services to Army and Air Force bases throughout Australia.

Frontline’s sole purpose is to provide these services with the aim of providing surplus profit back to the Army and Air Force communities.

Frontline Defence Services Managing Director, Chris Hamilton said " As our Army and Air Force personnel continue to assist in the recovery effort in Brisbane and the Lockyer Valley, it is our job to ensure that we are providing what support we can to them.

"The provision of these items recognises the outstanding contribution these  soldiers and airmen are making as well as providing a measure of indirect assistance to the wider south Queensland community""

Members on the clean up teams will also be provided with sports drinks and dried snack food to consume while working on the clean up.
