Australian Army and Defence personnel will now have access to a new online shopping facility for Army gifts, memorabilia
and promotional products.
The new Army Shop enables personnel to access a wide range of Army branded products, specific corps and unit products or choose
their own unique product to brand.
Frontline Managing Director, Chris Hamilton said that Army Shop has thousands of products for personnel and the public to choose
from.
"Our range includes corporate clothing such as jackets, shirts, and hats to corporate gifts such as lapel pins, travel bags,
sporting items, medallions and much more.
"If you're organising a corps or unit promotion or simply looking for that perfect military gift for a friend or family
member, Army Shop is the place to go", he said.
Chief of Army Lieutenant General Ken Gillespie said the Army Shop ensures personnel have access to quality products at the
lowest possible price and will also help in promoting a consistent, professional Army image.
"All Army branded products have been authorised for production by the Australian Army. This means that personnel can be
assured that the products meet the brand requirements of the Australian Army.
"I am also proud to advise that all profits from the Army Shop go to supporting Army personnel through the Army Relief
Trust Fund.
"I encourage all Army personnel to support the Trust Fund and contribute to promoting the professionalism of our organisation
by purchasing your corporate gifts, memorabilia and promotional products needs through the Army Shop", he said.
Deputy Chief of the Army, Major General David Morrison, formally launched the online shop in Canberra on November 3.
"The Rising Sun is an iconic badge - it is recognised throughout the world. Using that badge, the Army sells itself
throughout Australia to instill public trust and to encourage pride even in the newest recruit.
"I thoroughly encourage every soldier to get behind this initiative. The ARTF provides support to Army members in their
time of need and, if this scheme works, it will move the ARTF into a whole new world," he said.
