Frontline Defence Services is involved in the provision of canteen and C – store services on 27 Army and Air Force bases across Australia.
Frontline Defence Services directly operates outlets located in QLD, NT, WA and Puckapunyal in VIC. In an effort to provide more consistent and better quality food offering across the country, Frontline Defence Services partnered in a profit share arrangement with Australian Commercial Catering (ACC) to operate food outlets in NSW, VIC ANS SA. Frontline Defence Services retains control of these outlets, but ACC run the daily operations. Outlets in other areas are operated under a Licence to Trade Agreement with individual outlet owners.
Our canteen services aim to provide convenience to Defence Force personnel by providing them with an on base option for meals and convenience items. This is demonstrated through the provision of Mobile Food Van services on larger bases.
Defence Force Personnel can access basic convenience store amenities through many Frontline stores, as well as large range of meal and snack options. Many of our outlets also offer a café counter, providing take away coffee and cake options.
These services are all provided with the ultimately goal of providing support to Defence Force Personnel through the return of surplus funds from the canteen services directly to the bases in the form of direct sponsorship, vending commissions and other financial support to individual units and welfare trusts.
