Since its inception, the goal of the Defence Force Canteen service has always been to conduct its operations on a commercial and self-supporting basis, with the aim of providing profits sufficient to permit distribution of surplus funds for the benefit of members of the Army or the Air Force and their families.
Frontline provides significant levels of financial support to unit trusts and base welfare funds through the disbursement of vending machine commissions, direct cash sponsorship and product donations to support unit functions, sporting teams and significant events.
More information is available on our Vending Commission support on our Vending Totals Page.
